Entry into force of GDPR

On April 27, 2016, the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council entered into force, and we had to adapt to the new regulations.

At the outset, chaos reigned and the GRDP had scarcely come into being, nor entered the statute books of every member state at that time. Throughout the spring, we spoke with many of our colleagues, we sought out information online, even in specialist forums, and the procedure seemed more and more daunting.
